New Tenant Move-In Checklist
Welcome to your new home! To ensure a smooth move-in experience, please follow this checklist.
Complete Security Deposit Payment
Ensure your security deposit payment is made. Log into the payment portal to complete this payment if you haven’t done so yet.
Schedule Your Move-In
Use the move-in calendar feature on the resident portal to select a convenient date and time for your move. This helps us coordinate and assist you better.
Move-in/outs are not allowed on Sundays — no exceptions — to observe quiet hours.
Move-in/outs must be completed by 5:00 PM. Any move outside of approved hours is a lease violation and subject to a $400 fine.
Available move-in time slots:
9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Please do not exceed your reserved time slot. If you need more than 4 hours, reserve both time slots in advance.
After your move, please return the elevator to its normal mode.
Carts are available in the loading area:
Use the smaller carts only, as they fit in the freight elevator.
All moves must use the freight elevator (the one with gray padding).
Do not use the passenger elevators for moving items.
Please properly dispose of any trash or moving boxes:
Break down boxes and place them in the dumpster located in the parking lot area.
If you’re unsure where to go, feel free to ask the leasing office for directions.
Set Up Your WiFi and Cable
Starry Internet (Available for both 1020 Apartments and Library Courts):
We offer Starry Internet with one month free! Use the link above to activate your Starry Internet service and enjoy your complimentary first month.Xfinity Cable:
Residents of 1020 Apartments receive complimentary Xfinity cable. Please note, the complimentary cable service is available exclusively for 1020 Apartments. However, Library Courts residents can also set up Xfinity cable but will be responsible for the cost of service. Please contact Xfinity at 1-800-XFINITY (1-800-934-6489).
Check Your Email for Portal Access
On move-in day, you will receive an invitation to the DoorLoop tenant portal. Follow the instructions in the email to activate your account and access important features.
Review Lease Agreement and Community Rules
Once logged into the DoorLoop portal, review your lease agreement and community rules.
Complete Move-In Inspection
Perform a move-in inspection to document the condition of your new apartment. Report any issues or damages via the DoorLoop portal for prompt resolution.
Explore the Resident Portal
Familiarize yourself with the features of the DoorLoop portal, including how to submit maintenance requests, make online payments, and stay updated with community news.
Submit Proof of Renter’s Insurance
Please submit proof of renter’s insurance to us by email. This is a requirement to complete your move-in process.
